Technology is advancing at a great pace and the lives of people are evolving equally as fast. It is not just about the gadgets that we use in daily lives but also how modern our lives have become practically. A good example could be the change in our kitchens. In the olden times, people did not have the kind of kitchens, kitchenware and utensils as we do today. There was no concept of egg beaters, juicers, blenders, grinders and coffee makers in ancient times. People in ancient times were quite simple. This is clearly evident from their kitchens. Back in the day, there were just two or three pots made up of stainless steel but now, we have non-sticking pans, sauté pans, ovens, cast-iron utensils, various kinds of frying pans and sauce pans and much more added to the sets. This great change has however arisen due to the change in mentality, increasing cosmopolitanism, the shrinkage of earth and increasing demands for such utensils. Also, today's sets have a multitude of electronic kitchenware which people in the olden days did not even imagine having. There are many companies out there that are manufacturing world renowned sets of pots and pans such as Macy's of New York, Cuisinart, T-fal and Lodge Logic. There are numerous other manufacturers of these products around the world.

For a perfect set, it is not necessary that one buys all of it from the same place and in one day. It can be collected turn by turn and a perfectly delightful pot and pan set complete.
